Feathered Acres Learning Farm Tour Itinerary

1. Welcome & Introduction

• Meet your farm guide and learn about the mission of Feathered Acres: connecting people to real food and regenerative farming.

2. Chicken Coop Visit

• Step inside the coop and learn how we care for our pasture-raised chickens.

• Collect freshly laid eggs (you’ll see a rainbow of colors!).

• Feed the chickens and see how they contribute to a healthy farm system.

3. Hog Pasture Experience

• Walk out to the hogs and see them lounging under trees or rolling in the mud.

• Spray down the pigs on hot days to help them cool off and stay happy.

• Learn how we raise our pigs with care for Niman Ranch, focusing on animal welfare, sustainability, and flavor.

4. Sheep Pasture Visit

• Meet our flock of sheep in the open pasture.

• Feed the sheep and get up close with both wool and hair sheep.

• Learn the difference between wool and hair sheep—and why we raise hair sheep on our farm.

5. Closing & Q&A

• Wrap up with any final questions and a chance to reflect on what you learned.

• Optional: Stop by the farm store for pasture-raised products.
