Classes & Tours

Come take a class on our farm!  We want to give you the opportunity to get hands-on experience with a real farm! Classes are open to kids of all ages and no one is too young to get their hands dirty.  It's all about interactive learning and getting back to the basics of our amazing planet.

Learn some sustainable practices to implement with your family back home!  Teach your kids to grow their own food and understand the hard work and taste of a home-grown tomato!  Understand that meat and eggs don't come from the grocery store, that there's a hard-working farmer out there caring for their animals and your food!

HOW TO START YOUR OWN COMPOST

  • Let's start composting! Composting leaves, twigs, cardboard, and leftover scraps can make the most unbelievable garden food! This is something that you can reuse to feed your flowers and garden! We will start by building our own compost bin out of recycled pallets. We then will walk through the whole composting recipe and the Dos and Don'ts! This is very easy once you get going and will be a great way to make a small sustainable change to your daily life! This is also a very fun activity for young kids to do and participate in!
