Refund, Return and Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Methods and Carriers

Available shipping methods and carriers will be displayed during checkout. The carrier used may vary depending on the product, destination, package size, weather conditions, and delivery availability.

Some products may not be eligible for shipping and may only be available for local delivery or farm pickup.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Feathered Acres Farm is not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related delays, or other delivery disruptions outside of our control.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times will be provided during checkout or in your order confirmation. (Clothing only)

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Processing and delivery times may be affected by: (Clothing only)

  • Weekends or holidays

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier delays

  • Product availability

  • The customer’s delivery location

Customers will receive shipping or delivery information when available. (Clothing only)

Deliveries for meat will happen Tuesday’s between 8 am- 5 pm and left at the doorstep.

3. Shipping Charges and Delivery Areas

Shipping charges are calculated based on the order size, weight, destination, delivery method, and type of product being shipped.

The total shipping or delivery charge will be displayed before the order is completed.

Local delivery and farm pickup may be available for certain products and locations. Available delivery areas, pickup options, and associated charges will be shown during checkout or communicated when the order is placed.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping or delivery address. Feathered Acres Farm is not responsible for missing packages, delays, spoilage, or additional charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

4. Perishable and Food Products

All sales of perishable and food-related products are final.

Due to food safety requirements and the nature of these products, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Meat products

  • Eggs

  • Frozen or refrigerated products

  • Other perishable food items

Please inspect your order as soon as it is received. Contact Feathered Acres Farm immediately if an order arrives damaged, incorrect, thawed, spoiled, or otherwise unusable.

Claims must include the customer’s name, order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable.

Feathered Acres Farm will review each claim individually. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

We cannot provide refunds or replacements when a customer is unavailable to receive a delivery, provides an incorrect address, fails to follow storage instructions, or allows a package to remain outside after delivery.

5. Non-Perishable Merchandise

Unworn, unused, unwashed, and undamaged non-perishable merchandise may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery.

Eligible products may include clothing, accessories, gifts, or other non-food merchandise.

To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • Be in its original condition

  • Include the original packaging or tags when applicable

  • Be returned within 30 days of delivery

After 30 days, eligible merchandise may be considered for an exchange or store credit at the discretion of Feathered Acres Farm.

All returned products will be inspected. Items that have been used, worn, washed, altered, stained, or damaged may not be accepted.

6. Product-Specific Return Eligibility

Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following products may be eligible when they meet all return conditions:

  • Unworn clothing

  • Unused toys

  • Unused farm merchandise

  • Unopened and non-perishable gift items

Not Eligible for Return or Refund

The following purchases are final sale:

  • Meat, eggs, and other food products

  • Frozen, refrigerated, or perishable products

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance merchandise

  • Class tickets

  • Farm tour tickets

  • Items that have been worn, washed, used, damaged, or altered

7. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Feathered Acres Farm may provide a return shipping label. When a return is not the result of an error by Feathered Acres Farm, the cost of the shipping label will be deducted from the customer’s refund.

Original shipping and delivery charges are nonrefundable unless the order was incorrect or damaged due to an error by Feathered Acres Farm.

Returns should not be sent without first contacting Feathered Acres Farm.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise

Please contact Feathered Acres Farm as soon as possible if a non-perishable item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Requests for a replacement, refund, or exchange must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

Any damage must be disclosed before the item is returned. If an item is returned with undisclosed damage or signs of use, Feathered Acres Farm may deny the return or reduce the refund amount.

9. Sale and Clearance Items

All sale and clearance merchandise is final sale.

Sale and clearance items are not eligible for a refund, return, exchange, or store credit unless required by law.

10. Class and Farm Tour Tickets

All class and farm tour ticket sales are final.

Class and tour tickets are:

  • Nonrefundable

  • Not eligible for store credit

  • Not exchangeable for products or cash

  • Not transferable to a different class or tour date unless approved by Feathered Acres Farm

Guests who cannot attend may transfer their ticket to another person by contacting Feathered Acres Farm before the scheduled class or tour.

No refunds will be provided for missed classes, late arrivals, personal scheduling conflicts, illness, travel issues, or weather conditions unless the event is officially canceled by Feathered Acres Farm.

If Feathered Acres Farm cancels a class or tour, registered guests will be offered a refund or the option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled date.

11. Farm Stay Cancellation and Refund Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated during checkout.

A full refund of prepaid booking charges will be provided when a reservation is canceled at least seven days before the scheduled arrival date.

Reservations canceled fewer than seven days before arrival are nonrefundable.

No refunds will be provided for:

  • Early departures

  • Late arrivals

  • No-shows

  • Personal scheduling conflicts

  • Weather conditions that do not result in the official closure of the property

If Feathered Acres Farm must cancel a reservation, the guest will receive a refund of the amount paid or may transfer the payment to another available date.

12. Farm Stay Damage Deposit

A $50 preauthorization may be placed on the guest’s payment method one day before arrival.

The hold will generally be released approximately two days after departure, provided there are no damages, missing items, excessive cleaning charges, or other outstanding costs.

The amount of time it takes for the funds to become available may depend on the guest’s bank or credit card provider.

13. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider. Shipping charges and other nonrefundable fees may be deducted from the refund when applicable.
