A hands-on 3-day farm camp or 1 day camp where kids get to experience what it is really like to be a farmer! For the 3 day camp Hours: 9 am - 2pm & bring a cold packed lunch and for the 1 day camp hours are 9 am - 3:30 pm and bring a lunch! (This is not an overnight camp)
Ages 7+
During camp, kids will:
Go on daily nature hikes along the river
Explore the river, fields, and cover crops
Take part in a nature scavenger hunt
Watch a corn stalk grow over the three days
Feed chickens
Collect farm-fresh eggs
Learn how to clean, package, and label eggs for a grocery store
Meet our pasture-raised pigs
Hold baby piglets
Feed pigs and help fill their wallows
Meet and feed our sheep
Learn the difference between wool sheep and hair sheep
Walk the sheep pasture and check fences
Play farm games and Mini Farmer challenges
Learn where their food comes from
Pressing flowers on day 1 and making a craft with day on day 3
Seed bomb craft
Hold baby kitties
Rock Painting

Each camper will also receive a Feathered Acres Mini Farmer Hat, 1 dz eggs, farm tote, stuffed piggy and Mini Farmer Certificate.
