Feathered Acres Mini Farmer Camp

A hands-on 3-day farm camp where kids get to experience what it is really like to be a farmer!

Ages 7+

During camp, kids will:

• Go on daily nature hikes around the farm

• Explore the river, corn fields, and cover crops

• Take part in a nature scavenger hunt

• Watch a corn stalk grow over the three days

• Feed chickens

• Collect farm-fresh eggs

• Clean, package, and label eggs for the grocery store

• Meet our pasture-raised pigs

• Hold baby piglets

• Feed pigs and help fill their wallows

• Meet and feed our sheep

• Learn the difference between wool sheep and hair sheep

• Walk the sheep pasture and check fences

• Learn about rotational grazing

• Play farm games and Mini Farmer challenges

• Learn where their food comes from

• Pressing flowers on day 1 and making a craft with day on day 3

• Seed bomb craft

Each camper will also receive a Feathered Acres Mini Farmer Hat, farm journal, tote, stuffed piggy and Mini Farmer Certificate.

This camp is perfect for kids who love animals, being outside, and learning how real farms help feed families.
